Architectural Team

The Banff Centre has retained award-winning internationally recognized architects Diamond and Schmitt to develop the campus master plan and to design new facilities. Recipients of six Governor General’s awards for architecture, as well as other distinctions, their major design projects include the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, the Max M. Fisher Music Centre in Detroit, and campus master plans for University College, Oxford, England, and New Brunswick’s Mount Allison University.
