Creativity and innovation are essential to growing sustainable, healthy, and vital communities. The problems we face today will not be solved with old ways of thinking. When participants leave The Banff Centre, they bring new learning, expertise, and optimism back home. They share their experiences and become mentors and role models for future generations of artists and business and community leaders. Banff Centre Revitalization will enable this valuable work to continue.

“I wouldn’t do it halfway. Halfway would be worse than nothing. Either do it the absolute best in the world, or don’t do it. It’s a curve like this – you can do 90 per cent of the work and have almost no effect. It’s that extra ten per cent that drives it up to a real international firestorm that produces enormous impact.”
