Formed in Chicago in 1997, the Fry Street Quartet is the faculty quartet-in-residence at Utah State University. They performed at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall and 92nd Street Y in 2001, and are winners of the Millennium Grand Prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and the first-prize winners of the Yellow Springs Competition. They will debut in Austria and the Czech Republic in the fall of 2004. The Fry Quartet competed in the 1998 BISQC.
