In support of the development of the digital entertainment industry in Hong Kong, the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) 2007 is positioned as an international event and platform to connect Hong Kong’s creative talents to the rapidly evolving and growing global digital content and entertainment industry. Driven largely by science and technology based innovation, the Asia Pacific region is home to one of the fastest growing economies of the 21st Century.

The Digital Media Opportunities in the Asia Pacific Region market access program focuses on opportunities for Alberta’s digital media companies who are interested in doing business in the Asia Pacific region. This market access program provides participants with a close up of the distribution and production of Asia Pacific’s TV programs, digital entertainment games, music, and video industries. Interaction with digital media companies in Hong Kong will provide attendees with cross media delivery as well as cross business partnership opportunities.

Digital Media Opportunities in the Asia Pacific Region provides participants with the opportunity to share their experiences, insights, and connections with one another and the larger Alberta digital media community through a variety of activities including pre-planning strategic meetings, presentations, workshop participation, teleconference participation, attendance at the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum conference from March 18 – 25, and de-briefs.

*Registered participants in this program will partake in a series of pre-market activities offered throughout Northern and Southern Alberta.  Pre-market strategic support is offered through telephone conferences and workshops where participants’ goals for in-market activities are outlined. The goal of the pre-market programming is to ensure companies preparedness for attendance at the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF). These activities will take place between Feb 15 – March 17.

**Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum connects innovative digital media creators with entrepreneurs to create unparalleled career inspiration and networking opportunities for entertainment media and game creation with the Asia Pacific region. Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum 2007 is positioned to connect Hong Kong’s creative talents with cross business partnership opportunities, domestically and internationally. In-market activities take place at the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum March 18 – 25.

***Post-market activities will take place between March 17 – April 25. The goal of the post-market activities is to have participants interact with the larger Alberta Digital Media industry by providing feedback about their pre-market and in-market experiences through a series of pubic workshops. Participants are also required to provide written reports of their market access program experience.

The Market Access program, supported by the DMAA and the BNMI Accelerator program provides participants with the opportunity to share their experiences, insights and connections with one another and the larger Alberta digital media community through a variety of pre-market, in-market and post-market activities. The Market Access program endeavors to connect Alberta companies to important national and international
