Alberta-Based Producer Wins Pitch-it Session at KidScreen

With six minutes to pitch at the 8th annual KidScreen Summit final event in New York City on February 9, 2007, Edmonton’s Ken Bautista, a delegate of the BNMI Accelerator Market Access Program and CEO/executive producer of Hotrocket Studios Inc. delivered an excellent project synopsis for CIE Project (Central Institute for Exploration).  Produced for the tween market, CIE utilizes a series of clues transmitted via mobile phones, blogs, podcasts, and video that are dedicated to exploring the past, present and future. Kids aged 8 – 12 engage in an alternate reality like no other.
