Set in a backdrop of rich peer-to-peer learning, educational psychologist Brian Woodward delivered a three-day Leadership Development program to thirteen participants at Hong Kong Cyberport from January 23 – 25, 2007.
One of the most crucial ingredients of a successful entrepreneurial environment is the ability to effectively lead a team. Brian develops and delivers professional training courses through Leadership Development at The Banff Centre.
This program offered participants an exciting opportunity to examine their capacity for leadership in an entrepreneurial environment. Using a short assessment tool, participants were able to identify their own styles of leadership, identifying potential strengths and obstacles.
While participants explored the demanding nature of the entrepreneurial environment, key questions and success factors were identified. Participants were also invited to apply the ideas identified and developed within the program to their own situations by setting personal goals and milestones for their own successes.
