Research Partnerships

The Banff New Media Institute has a successful history of innovating art and science research iniatitives and partnering with multidisciplinary research projects related to art, technology, and digital culture. BNMI welcomes and maintains strong relationships with key individuals and organizations across Canada and internationally that promote and stimulate a culture of creative inquiry and enthusiasm for R&D collaborations. BNMI engages in research partnerships in many forms including primary and co-investigation, and the support of academic sabbaticals, post-doctoral placements, and the hosting of visiting research projects that have a relationship to the knowledge domain of BNMI.
