The Banff New Media Institute brings together interdisciplinary and culturally diverse groups for intensive working sessions to consider critical questions in the field of new media. Summits explore evolving project work, research, practice, and discourse in local and global contexts. BNMI solicits suggestions for the engagement of participants within a scholarly framework to explore questions of social and cultural urgency or focus on precise areas of new media research or strategy.
