Banff Summer Arts Festival 2003 - Banff, Alberta, Canada

The 2003 Banff Summer Arts Festival ended on August 10. More than 60 fabulous arts events including music concerts, dance performances, and art exhibitions combined to make the 2003 Banff Summer Arts Festival a sizzling sensation.

Highlights included performances of Filumena, the acclaimed new Canadian opera by John Estacio and John Murrell. Other memorable moments included the world premiere of Maelstrom, created by 2003 Clifford E. Lee Choreographer Award recipient Andrew Giday, as part of Festival Dance, and the Aboriginal Performance Creation by the Aboriginal Arts Dance Program participants.
