The Banff Summer Arts Festival is The Banff Centre’s primary opportunity to showcase the many talented artists who come to Banff each summer to engage in the rigorous investigation of their respective disciplines. The Banff Summer Arts Festival includes over 100 events featuring over 1,000 international artists participating in Banff Centre programs. All performances, with the exception of the Playbill Series, come out of the programming areas at The Banff Centre, which include Aboriginal Arts, Banff New Media Institute, Leadership Development, Literary Arts, Mountain Culture, Music & Sound, Theatre Arts (Dance, Opera), Visual Arts, and the Walter Phillips Gallery.
