An original two-act song cycle, Scorched Earth features The Odd Man’s Life, a moody reflection on a man in his not-so-prime, written and sung by one of Calgary’s coolest crooners, Doug McKeag. In the second act, Blanche, the songs are poetic family movies from the bittersweet life of a prairie dame. Written by and featuring Onalea Gilbertson on vocals and piano.

The Gypsy Wife

A unique musical creation inspired by the mystical and musical cultures of Eastern Europe, The Gypsy Wife features chanteuse Patricia O’Callaghan and composer John Gzowski.
