Staff Accommodation
The Banff Centre offers varying styles of accommodation for our employees, including single family homes, townhouses, apartments and university-style dormitories.
On campus
Most staff live on campus in the Don Becker or DCH Residence. Rent costs $9.00 - $10.00 or $5.00 - $5.50 per day (based on shared occupancy).
Families have the option of applying for an unfurnished townhouse as they become available. The Centre offers three three-bedroom townhouses ($827/month plus utilities) and nine two-bedroom townhouses ($752/month plus utilities).
Off campus
The Banff Centre offers a number of units for rent, based on availability, at the Rocky Mountain Housing Coop. Located next to the Bow River and close to the downtown core, the coop is surrounded by spectacular mountain views and is only a 15-20 minute walk to the Banff Centre. All housing applications are subject to a criminal record check. Full-time salaried and hourly employees, working a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week, are eligible to apply for housing.
