Training
The Banff Centre believes in life long learning for all staff. Most training programs are open to staff and are free to attend, subject to some restrictions.
We offer over 120 training programs a year.
Programs include:
- Orientation session – learn about the centre and the amazing opportunities that await you.
- Safety training – covering safe work practices and WHMIS are covered
- Customer service training - the successful running of the Centre depends on our staff and their customer service skills
- First aid – keeping your co-workers safe through basic first aid skills
- Computer sessions- 25 different programs are offering in the Microsoft Business Suite
- High ropes courses – challenge yourself and your team by working through our high ropes course 30 feet off the ground
- Team building and communication – learn work more effectively improving your teamwork and communication skills
- Writing courses - concise business writing can be difficult. This two day program covers the basics of business writing.
- Project management - too many projects? This two day program gives you the skills to bring them under control
