The Banff Centre is Canada's foremost post-secondary institution dedicated to professional development. It is the only public institution of its kind that provides advanced learning opportunities to professional artists, business and community leaders, and members of the mountain community.

Since our launch in January 2000, we are pleased to have been involved in many Centre initiatives, and to play an ongoing role in the Centre's deployment of media technology.

We support all creative media and technology needs at the Centre, our largest support is directed towards Fine Arts. These departments offer Creative Residencies organized by theme, medium, or self-directed activity and cutting edge co-production opportunities in television, video, and interactive media. CEE supports the Fine Art Division's media production needs in the areas of consultation, technical services, and access to production facilities and artist training.

With our campus partners, we encourage relationships with other universities and institutions in the area of electronic communication, and will continue to build strong ties with industry partners in interactive media, video, and broadcast television.
