January 22, 2008 - Media Release - Banff Centre chef named best in Canada.

Hospitality and Conferences won a 2007 Corporate Meetings and Incentives "Paragon" award.

Hospitality and Conferences won an Inner Circle Award from the readers of Association Meetings magazine in both 2006 and 2007. Properties were selected for their high level of service, flexible function space, quality of food and beverage, and good value on room rates.

Hospitality and Conferences won a 2006 Corporate Meetings and Incentives “Paragon” award.

On May 26, 2006, The Banff Centre was named as a winner in the Alberta Hotel and Lodging Association “WHEEL” award in the Canada Select 3.5 stars and under category. The Workplace Hospitality Employer of Excellence and Leadership awards were created to recognize outstanding employers in the Alberta accommodation industry.

June 2005 – Chef Beat Hegnauer has been appointed as representative for the Calgary Academy of Chefs and Cooks at the Canadian Culinary Federation AGM.

Beat Hegnauer has been honoured as “Chef of the Year” for 2004 by the Calgary Academy of Chefs and Cooks.
