The Banff Centre Assessment Tools
Leadership Development uses a number of assessments and models in its programs, as a part of the learning process for individuals along their leadership journey. Assessments measure specific aspects of your individual style. Models help to visualize and make concrete more abstract concepts. Depending upon the focus of each program, different assessments or models are utilized.
Among other things, the assessments evaluate
- leadership competency and character
- learning and thinking style
- how you deal with change
- personality type
- strengths and weaknesses
- emotional intelligence
- your organization’s culture
- how you handle conflict
The purpose of the feedback obtained from participating in these assessments is to facilitate your individual learning, help you better understand the working styles of your colleagues and your organization, and set you on a course for increased self-awareness, greater effectiveness, increased capacity to work with change, and enhanced leadership capacity.
Links to these assessments and models are also found on each program’s description page.
