Dedicated to the rich traditions and boundless future of jazz and dance and renowned for their eclectic styling, use of live music and infectious dancing, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks returns with another “concert for the eyes.” The brand-new blues-infused production reunites the company and artistic director Vicki Adams Willis with actress-singing sensation Jackie Richardson, one of Canada’s foremost singers of blues, gospel and jazz. The new show combines the talents of the dancers, band, and Richardson in an evening that celebrates the blues in all its rockin’, soulful, humorous, and poetic incarnations.
