We are pleased to present the award-winning photographs from the 2006 Banff Mountain Photography Competition. The wide range of subject matter, locale, style, and creative vision from so many exceptionally talented and dedicated photographers was astounding! Our jury members — acclaimed photographer Alec Pytlowany, curator Lisa Christensen, and photographer/writer Jerry Kobalenko — completed the superb and difficult job of selecting the 17 winning images from over 2100 images entered by photographers in 27 countries.
