Dag Goering & Maria Coffey are a married couple and an internationally published photographer/writer team. Exploring new cultures and landscapes has always been an enduring passion for both and they have forged a lifestyle that allows them to pursue this.

Dag Goering began taking pictures and working in the darkroom in his teens under the guidance of his father, a professional photographer.

Since then he has produced a large collection of photographs from locations around the world. More than 500 of his images have been published in books, calendars and prominent newspapers and magazines including National Geographic Adventure, Action Asia, New York Times, Manchester Guardian and Outdoors Illustrated.

"I try to use the camera as a tool to better "see" the places I visit and to get closer to the people who live there. I strive to make honest images, images I can take back and share with the people I photograph”.
