Erin Kelly

Erin Kelly is a M.Sc. graduate student at the University of Alberta, supervised by Dr. D.W. Schindler and Dr. V.L. St. Louis. She is currently writing up her thesis research on the effects of both elevation and fire on mercury deposition and bioaccumulation in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. In the past, Erin has researched and written background reports on contaminants and water quality in the Mackenzie River Basin for Environment Canada’s Mackenzie River Basin Board. She also completed an undergraduate research project on fish communities of the Gull River drainage (Ontario) in relation to historical (glacial lake coverage), environmental (lake morphometry, water chemistry, habitat and species association) and anthropogenic (# of cottages, % crown land) factors.
