Karen McIntosh
Karen McIntosh holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate student and candidate for the MA degree in
Economics at the University of Calgary. Ms. McIntosh conducted a program of field research in the region of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, from June through
September 2003, in close cooperation with the Central American Water Resource Management Network. Ms. McIntosh is the recipient in 2003 of an
Innovative Research Award from the Canadian International Development Agency, and of an International Studentship Award from the University of
Calgary.
