Climate Change and its Effect on the Alpine

This is a two-day event, including both classroom time and field time. It’s an opportunity to learn about climate change from recognized experts.

Although there is no cost to participate in the workshop or field trip, participants will be responsible for their own meal, accommodation and travel expenses and arrangements.

The field trip will be limited for 40 people on a registration basis. Participants are expected to bring their own lunch and to dress and equip themselves appropriately for fall weather conditions in Banff and at the Columbia Icefield.

The workshop portion will be limited by the room capacity (80 people).
