Brian Bartlett's most recent poetry collections are Granite Erratics (Ekstasis Editions 1997) and Underwater Carpentry (Goose Lane Editions 1994). A participant in the Writing Studio (1993), Bartlett won The Malahat Review Long Poem Prize in 1991 and again in 1997. He also writes fiction, and has published essays, journals, memoirs, and prose about poetry. Bartlett teaches creative writing and literature at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
