Marik Boudreau’s photographs have been part of Optica’s art-on-the-buses events and Remue-Ménage’s publication Women of Québec in the 80s as well as in several site specific projects by Fleming & Lapointe. In the early 1980s she began several long-term documentation projects of urban change in Montréal - in Chinatown and along the Lachine Canal. Her book maquettes have earned several awards and her journalistic photography has appeared in dozens of newspapers and magazines around the world. Her videotape, Série Fleuve has been shown in festivals in New York, Seoul and Montréal. Her work has been exhibited in group showa in Montréal, Paris, Liège, Barcelona, Seoul, São Paulo and numerous venues across Canada.
