Maureen Brady's recent stories have been published in Cabbage and Bones (Henry Holt and Company 1997), Mom (Alyson 1998), and Pillow Talk (Alyson 1998). She has received grants and awards from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Barbara Deming Fund, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, MacDowell, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Villa Montalvo, the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, and The Banff Centre. Brady teaches writing at NYU and the Writer's Voice and divides her time between New York City and the Catskills.
