"... includes a broad spectrum
of writers from around the world, with corresponding variety of
issues and styles. All, however, attempt to write personal essays
which speak to the self and larger issues at the same time."
- Patrick Rengger, Calgary Herald
Each summer, The
Banff Centre's Creative
Non-Fiction and Cultural Journalism program takes in eight
senior journalists and writers and charges them with a simple, if
daunting task: Write about something you really care about. In this
third instalment of the Banff Centre Press's literary journalism
series, participants push boundaries and arrive at some of their
most passionate work.
