Note: Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Registration and cancellation deadline is one week prior to course starting date or as stated with course.

Refund Policy:

You may withdraw at least one week prior to the course start date and receive a full refund or credit. If you withdraw within one week and prior to 72 hours before the course start date, you will receive a full credit or refund equal to 50% of the course fee. No refunds or credits will be given if the withdrawal is within 72 hours of the course start date.

New to Pilates? This class will introduce you to a beginner level mat workout. With our busy lifestyles, our eating habits often fall prey to our hectic pace. This two-part workshop will teach you how to optimize your health by making educated decisions. The first evening will review the new Canada Food Guide, the basics of nutrition, how to eat to maximize your energy levels, reduce cravings, strategies for eating on the run and how to achieve your optimal body weight. The second evening will teach you how to be an educated consumer by deciphering food labels and navigating food aisles on a supermarket safari.

#2168 Foam Roller Exercise Seminar

Do you have a foam roller sitting at home and don’t know what to do with it? Have you seen people “rolling” in the gym and want to try what they are doing? This seminar taught by physiotherapist Corinne Huggill will teach you how to safely, effectively and correctly use the foam roller. You will learn to mobilize the thoracic spine, self massage leg muscles, gluts, IT Band, and to work on core stability and balance. This is a great way to work on posture, muscle lengthening and flexibility.

If our times don’t work for you…customize a spin class to FIT your schedule. Personally select the time and day with a minimum of 4 (maximum of 6) of your friends, co-workers, etc. and we will do our best to make it happen. Class prices will be determined upon the customized needs.

#2165 Introduction to Ceramics

Learn the hand building and wheel throwing processes of making pottery and ceramic sculpture with a focus on a variety of techniques and aesthetics. Pieces made during class will be glazed and fired at the end of the session. Appropriate for people new to ceramics or those who wish to diversify their clay forming processes.
