The Banff Centre Junior Climbing Team

If you’re interest in taking your climbing skills to a new level or if you think you’d like to join the competitive climbing circuit, join the Banff Centre Junior Climbing Team. You will do climbing based training for 2.5 hours, three days a week to develop technique, endurance and power. Head coach, Chris Neve, has successfully guided the team from beginner levels to confident and successful climbers competing at National Climbing Competitions.

FEE: $150 / month x 10 months
DATES: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
TIME: 4:30pm – 7:00pm
AGES: 9 – 19 years

Funky monkey climbing club

They have energy to burn…so let them! This program is completely supervised by our staff and designed to get your child(ren) to the top of the walls safely. All safety equipment is provided and space is limited. Register early!

FEE: $12 per session
DATE: Sundays
TIME: 12:30pm – 2:00pm
AGES: 4 years and up

Junior climbing club

Join our after-school climbing club! Youths will learn balance, movement and partnership while keeping their belay skills sharp with practice. Participants must pass a top-rope belay test using a gri-gri prior to first time registration in this monthly club. All safety equipment is provided.

FEE: $40.00 / person / month
DATES: Wednesdays
TIME: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
AGES: 9 years and up

Climbing gym birthday parties

Host your child’s next birthday party at The Banff Centre Climbing Gym and make it a sure-fire hit! Instructors will make sure all safety is taken care of so the kids can just concentrate on having an hour and a half of elevated fun! A souvenir of the event will be mailed to the birthday person following the party!

FEE: $15.00 + GST per participant (4 to 12 participants welcome!)
WHEN: Saturdays 10:30 am - 12:00 pm OR 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Sundays 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
* Parties are booked on a first come first served basis.
