This work is a six-colour silkscreen print on BFK Rives 100 per cent cotton rag paper. The paper dimensions are 22" x 30" with image area of 14” x 22”.

This print is one out of an edition of 33, created by Banff Centre alumnus Paul Wong during the 2004 Visual Arts spring Thematic Residency, IntraNation. The images are stills taken from Wong's 1978 video performance Intensity.

Paul Wong lives in Vancouver where, since the mid-seventies, he has been culturally producing as an artist, community activist, and curator. An internationally renowned artist, at times controversial, he is considered a pioneer video artist and media activist, with work ranging from documentary to new media installations. Primarily known for his video work, he was the 1992 recipient of the Bell Canada Award for outstanding contribution to the field of video art in Canada. He is a co-founding director of Video In, one of the early leading international centers of alternative video, and On Edge Productions. His work can be found in both national and international art collections and museums such as the National Gallery of Canada and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
